Kate's more than a stereotype (?)

But really, Kate... a fork in the outlet? Isn't that a little cliche? (Thank goodness we own plastic forks and outlet covers!) Haha. Thwarted!

Kate being a part of her generation (whatever glyphs we end up attaching to it ... what are we up to now, Generation Z? Generation AA? Generation α?), she is undoubtedly engaging in postmodern (or are we up to postpostmodern now?) antics.

She's asking you to question the very concept of baby, reifying the construct by engaging in the trope externally, and yet simultaneously critiquing our mass-produced, disposable culture (vis-a-vis the plastic fork), as well as the smothering nanny state (outlet covers), thereby deconstructing the teleological ... no, I can't keep this up.
