Great aunt

The kids' great aunt came to visit. They (and we) were very spoiled. I don't know which Kate liked more: Cece sleeping in her room with her or the new bike she was given as an early Christmas present!

Since then we have gone on a bike ride and the kids are in love with this new activity. And, with only one in the carrier now I actually have a shot at making it more than a mile.

Long drive

Drove up to Daddy P's work for a carnival. I got Starbucks out of it and they got cotton candy. All good.

Last week was slightly exhausting with all the doctors trips.  Kate had her adenoid out on Wednesday.  It went well, but wore her out, so she ended up staying home Wednesday on.  Jacob hit the allergy doc on Thursday, and they drew blood.  Still waiting to hear, but the verdict is:  no eggs (even in baked goods), no nuts, no... who knows.. what else?  Seems like there is more...

And, now we know that he is allergic to ant bites as well!  And, apparently, the severity of the allergy is progressing, so if he's bitten on his face or throat we need to get immediate help in the future...

Sigh...

The kid is just asking to end up in the ER or with a needle in his thigh.
