Jacob and Mommy Day

Our day was a little different... it boiled down almost entirely to
playing outside. On the patio, having a snack, riding the tricycle,
riding the scooter, walking, digging, running. Some food and napping
mixed in.

I realized how little of this I do with my little guy since he's the
second... a good reminder to take more time for this while I can and
he'll have me.

Kate and Mommy Day

Kate and I celebrated my birthday with a special "Kate and Mommy Day."
This started with donuts. Then, we went to the playground but her
finger hurt too much from jamming it to play (see: broken finger).
Then she went to work and enjoyed herself in my office while I ran my
group. Next up: mac n cheese at her favorite "mac n cheese
restaurant" for lunch. Pool after nap, then lots of cuddle time. We
both had a blast.
